Hi, I’m Jill! I am a personal stylist based in Raleigh, North Carolina. I love clothes and fashion. I love the way that putting on a great outfit connects me to my day, the people around me, and myself.
I’ve spent my career focusing on the connections that our environment have on us, including our wardrobe. I studied Family & Consumer Sciences and Fashion Design at Meredith College. Most recently, I earned a certification in Fashion Styling from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where I focused on helping individuals cultivate a wardrobe that makes sense for them. I spend my days as a middle school teacher and translate this into styling, by not just putting outfits together for you, but sharing why it works, and teaching you how to on your own.
I believe that what we wear matters and that it should be connected to you. I also feel like a lot of women are left out of the fashion conversation because of what they do, what they look like, and their access to the fashion world. I am passionate about empowering women to be present in their lives by taking away the distraction of the wrong clothes and putting on the confidence of the right outfit.
First fill out the information form and set up a time with Jill. When preparing for your appointment, be sure to have the clothes that you like to wear or want to be included in your session laundered and accessible. Jill recommends having some items pulled out that you want help styling.
We do not offer virtual styling sessions at this time. Jill is available for styling sessions in the Raleigh area.
A styling session is a great investment in you and identifying what works for you that you already have. It also gives you a chance to focus in on what pieces could be beneficial before purchasing anything new.
Jill writes a regular newsletter where she considers ways to make a closet more connected and how fashion is connected within our lives. View her writing and subscribe to her newsletter here.
